I’m sitting here at my computer excited and exhausted at the same time. I leave for WPPI in Vegas today and I am sooooo thrilled to be learning from the best of the best in the Photography Industry. I had a fabulous wedding last night and with all the excitement and nerves I didn’t get much sleep. :-( I know I missed last Wednesday’s post and I wish I had a good reason, but I just completely forgot, lame I know lol. BUT I wanted to touch base with all my readers to let them know that I have some good stuff coming up on the blog. I can’t wait to start to share my 2010 couples with you guys. I will be out of town until next Wednesday so I will not be having a Wednesday post (again) but stay tuned for a brand new post next Sunday.

Meet Krista and Chris they are already married and wanted to have some updated pictures. We ventured out into Addison and shot some quick pics and had a blast doing it. We totally lucked out because as SOON as we finished shooting it started to rain pretty bad.
Krista is one of my biggest fans and I absolutely LOVE her! Any chance she gets she’ll let you know who she thinks should photograph your wedding lol. Thank you SOOO much Krista for all your support in my business I couldn’t do it without loyal friends like yourself. ;-)

WPPI is JUST around the corner and I am SO excited. What is WPPI you ask? Well, it’s only the LARGEST Photography Conventions EVER!! Over 12,000 attendees and 365 exhibitors flood MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas March 4-11th. You want to learn from the best of the best? Make life long friends? Have a BLAST?? Well WPPI Las Vegas is the place to be, and I will be attending this year! I’ll take lots of pictures and make sure to share when I get back.
AND Remember What happens in Vegas STAYS in Vegas! LOL

Last week in Dallas we had a record high of snow. It was beautiful, and since it’s unheard of here in the Big-D we photographers were desperately trying to find a couple to let us photograph them in the snow. I lucked out BIG TIME, not only did I get a couple to allow us to photograph them in the snow, I got Stephanie and Jules. Stephanie and Jules are gorgeous, outgoing, up for ANYTHING, super smart, genuine, and SOOOO in LOVE! CHAAACHINNG!!

So I know this post is kinda of late. :-( I totally forgot today was Wednesday. It’s been one of THOSE days. You know the kind of days where you wonder if you forgot to put on deodorant? You KNOW those kind of days, right? Or is that just me? LOL Either way I planned on doing today’s post about my new site.
I am soooooooooo excited to share that my new website has launched! I absolutely LOVE it. It’s clean & it’s simple and fits me perfectly. I’ve had the same website for almost two years and I really really needed a change. Plus it showcases all my new lovely couples. I love you guys! :-) Couples that got married a couple of years ago, don’t worry I still have love for you

Nayza & Max got married on January 30th, you remember that day right? It was FREEEEEZZZZINNNNGG! I seriously thought my fingers would never straighten back up. I really thought I’d have to permanently walk around with hands that looked like claws. It was terrible! But Nayza and Max and their wedding party toughed it out and we got some fun pics! Nayza is my husbands cousin so it was a PARRTAAY! I had so much fun. A BIG shout out to my girls Melissa Marquez and Melinda Leal for assisting me on this day. I couldn’t have done it with out you two. ;-)

I’m so excited to share these pics on my blog. Kelly Simants from Sweet Pea Events decided that the wedding professionals in Dallas need to have a day once a month to relax, have fun, and meet and greet with other professionals in Wedding Industry, and this is how Thursday Therapy was born. :-) It has been soooo fun meeting other professionals in the Wedding Industry and hanging out with old friends. Kelly asked me to take a few pics during the last Thursday Therapy in January. Here are a few of my favorites. :-)

I have been waiting to post these bridals, and Cathy got married yesterday so here they are! I had an absolute blast tagging along with Magaly with The Modern Image Photography. Cathy wanted a very classic look, so we didn’t go to crazy with posing, and I absoultely love the outcome. I’m usually not a big fan of too “traditional” of a look, but I think we were able to give her what she wanted and added a little bit of a modern flare to several of the poses.

OMG I’m in LOVE LOVE LOVE with this Kelly Moore bag, and frankly I want one… BADDDDD, but I have a problem. I have always had trouble buying something for ME. I can go spend $520 on a playstation 3 console with games and all the trimmings for my husband but I won’t buy this bag for me. WHY? Cause I feel guilty. Don’t ask me why… I’m strange like that. I have socks that have holes in them and I still wear them. I need a new pair of black flats because my toe is about to rip through the front, but NO I won’t go buy new shoes, and don’t get me started on all these tight clothes that don’t even fit me anymore.. ugghh I have a problem shopping for myself. Am I the only one?

Every now and then I like to do something different. Don’t get me wrong I love photographing weddings, but I like to mix it up a little. I especially LOVE babies! They don’t talk back, they can’t run from me, and they are so perfect and need little to no editing. SCORE! My husband works with Monica and gifted her a baby session from me. I think it’s so cute that my husband thinks photography is a good gift b/c I couldn’t agree more.
If you are visiting my site for the first time I am a wedding photographer and don’t normally commission anything other than weddings so that I can give my undivided attention to my wedding clients.
