I’ve been waiting for this wedding since I met Bianca & Adam last fall. After thier engagment session I fell even more in love with these two. Not only are they naturals in front of the camera they are sooooo in love and aren’t afriad to show it. During their engagement session it was like the whole world just faded away and it was just the two of them, which made for some amazing photos. From their first look to thier first kiss as man and wife I felt as if I was experienceing it in a whole different way. I had to hold back tears EVERY time I saw Bianca get choked up.
There were some amazing Dallas/Fort Worth vendors that made this day even better. Thank you to Kelly from Sweet Pea Events who made this day run so perfectly smooth. If you are looking for a planner Kelly and her team are a DREAM to work with.
Venue: Hackberry Creek Country Club
Wedding Planner: Sweet Pea Events
Videographer: Lynn Films
Florist: Di Fiori
Cake: Delicious Cakes
DJ: Carol Marks Music
Hair/makeup: Laura Felan
Officiants: Love Notes
Thank you Bianca & Adam for choosing me as your wedding photographer. It was so great working with you two. There were so many great photos and it was so hard to choose but these were some of my favorites, so grab a snack because it’s a long one. :-)

this is just an optical illusion folks she isn’t naked behind the dress

My favorite series coming up… if you’re still thinking about doing a first look, stop and just do it!
I get way better reactions and such genuine emotion during the first look. If you aren’t sure what a first look is contact me and we’ll chat

Adam with his grandmother she pretty much stole the show with her awesomeness

Sophie and Orlando are finally married. Yes I said it… finally.. LOL. These two have been together for a while so I know that many of their family and friends were happy to see them tie the knot. Orlando and Sophie are the sweetest couple you will ever meet and you can literally see how much they love each other. I’ve known Sophie for close to 10 years and I’ve never seen her so happy and nothing makes me more happy then to see one of my long time friends marry the man of her dreams. This is going to be a long post so I’ll keep my babbling to a minimum
Thank you Sophie and Orlando for choosing me to document your day. I had a blast and really felt like part of the family. I wish you both a long happy marriage with lots and lots of babies
Sophie I love you girl! MAUH!
Ceremony: The Covenant Chapel
Reception: The Crowne Plaza
Brides Cake: Delicious Cakes
Thank you to Melinda Leal my second shooter for getting some KILLER shots! Also a big thank you to Magaly Abbott for coming as well. Sophie so appreciated you being there to support her.

I’ve never heard so many people gasp as the bride walked in… she sure did look stunning

I’ve never seen such an excited wedding party. You can tell these two are very loved.

LOVE..

Sophie’s father was the life of the party

Sophie’s father’s speech was memorable

Sophie’s traditional dress..was GORGEOUS!

Sophie and Orlando did a beautiful ritual called Sompeas Ptem. Close family and friends were invited to come forward to bring their best wishes and blessings from them and their ancestors to the new couple by individually tying string around each of their wrists. These knots are tied on both the bride and groom, who were traditionally required to wear them for three days afterwards to preserve the good luck

Christa REALLY wants this bouquet LOL

VICTORY!!! haahaaa

Vanessa and Jason had their wedding at a super cool venue called Party Off The Grid right in the middle of Downtown Dallas. The day was so relaxed which wouldn’t surprise you if you’ve ever meet Vanessa and Jason. They are the most down to earth people you’ve ever met. I absolutely LOVED working with these two not only because they are crazy awesome cool people, but because Vanessa and I went to high school together and it was so great to see her so happy.
These are just a few of my favorites from their wedding. A big thank you to the girls from Contemporary Portraits for helping me out. :-)

If you know Vanessa you know that her iPhone is attached at her hip LOL

Christie and Brandon are officially married and trust me it was a long time coming. It was the typical boy meets girl, boy falls for girl, girl wants nothing to do with boy, girl ends up finding out boy is the man of her dreams. LOL And as they say the rest is history. :-)
Brandon and Christie are so in love and such wonderful people. I feel so blessed to know both of them and feel so lucky to have shared their special day with them.
Thank you Christie and Brandon I had a blast! Here are a few of my favs from their wedding. :-) A big thank you to Magaly Abbott for getting some great photos as well. :-)

Meet Neda & Chase. I <3 them! We had so much fun walking around uptown getting to know each other. From the moment I met Neda & Chase I felt so comfortable as if we were old friends probably because I think Chase kinda resembles Jamie Kennedy from Ghost Whisperer and I’m slightly obsessed with that show.. don’t judge LOL Well I LOVE Jamie Kennedy’s character on the show so naturally I loved Chase too, duh! HA!
And Neda of course is super easy to get along with she’s so open, smart, real, and gorgeous! So let’s just say that I’m so looking forward to their wedding this fall.
Here are a few of my favs I hope you enjoy

Neda hates the pic on the right and Chase and I LOVE it.. Girl you look HOOOOOTTTT!

Had to show their silly side

I met Carly last year when someone wonderful past clients and my biggest supporters strong armed her into coming to see me LOL. Thanks Jessica and Krista
Carly and I hit it off right away. I didn’t get a chance to meet Greg at our initial meeting but I had heard a lot of wonderful things about him and how hilarious he was so I was excited to get a chance to work with him as well.
Carly and Greg love nature and often go camping so I thought it would be fun to take a little road trip to one of the camp sites they like to frequent. I am sooooooooo happy we did we got some amazing pictures that were completely customized for them. I love it when couples can incorporate something personal into their engagement sessions. So if you haven’t taken your engagement photos with me start thinking about what we could do that really fits you and your honey.
I hope you enjoy these as much as I do.

Now for the fun night stuff! LOVE these coming up..

Last shot of the night
Thank you to Melinda for standing in an ant pile to hold the lights for this shot…btw we didn’t know she was standing in an ant pile until her legs were on fire.. poor Mel
